ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR 9/11, A “B” DAY

• Acappella is holding auditions in Ms Cabral's room today, during Advisory!  Auditions are open to all students in grades 7-12.  Be prepared to sing a few bars of your choice from 2 of your favorite songs.  
• Guess our Spring Musical!  There are musicals posted outside Ms. Cabral's room.  Which one will it be?  Come down as we eliminate them each day at 2:30 pm!  See you there!
• JH Robotics Club will be having its first meeting tomorrow, Thursday, September 12th, after school. All 7th and 8th grade students are welcome to attend. The Club meets in the shop, from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Stop by after practice!
• Votes are in! The Homecoming Dance will be from 6-9 PM on October 11th, and Porter Day will be on October 18th!
• Students in grades 9-12, please check your school emails for the Homecoming Court ballots! Voting will conclude tomorrow, September 12th, at 2:30 pm!
• Sending out congratulations to the members of the Varsity Field Hockey team on their 2-0 win over Babylon. Goals were scored by Lindsey Bednoski and Carley Wilinski.
• The school doctor will be conducting physicals next Tuesday, September 17th from 9-11am. You must sign up in the Athletic Office. Remember, you need an up-to-date physical in order to participate in sports this year.
• Reminder to seniors:  Register for the SAT School Day scheduled for Wednesday, October 16th.  Registration is due no later than September 30th. Please stop by the Guidance Office if you need a form.
• Registration for the Fall session of Driver Ed is now open. Packets are available in the Guidance Office and from Mr. Davies.  Registration for this session ends on October 9th.
• Students are reminded that they must obtain a parking pass from the High School Office before parking on school property.  Students who do receive a parking pass should park only in unnumbered spots.
