NYSRSA Cititzenship Award

NYSRSA Cititzenship Award: Greenport High School in collaboration with the NYS Retired School Adminstrators and Supervisors has awarded Kevin Bumble as the recipient of the NYSRSAS Citizenship award for the 2024-2025 school year. Kevin demonstrates exceptional commitment to his community and consistently embodies the values of responsibility, respect, and kindness. Through his active involvement in both the classroom, as well as ROTC and various academic clubs, Kevin has exemplified leadership in school initiatives, and dedicated himself to making a positive impact. Kevin's passion for civics and Mock Trial in particular showcases his dedication to understanding and engaging with the legal and political systems. He also shows genuine concern for others, always going out of his way to help and support peers. By fostering critical thinking, promoting civic engagement, and showing empathy, Kevin exemplifies the qualities of an informed, active, and compassionate citizen. His actions consistently go above and beyond, making him truly deserving of this year's NYSRSAS award
